The kind of work you will do:

You will bring your career to the next level and seize major opportunities. The challenges you will face will be exciting and you will be offered the chance to build the future of Jumia and e-commerce in Africa. Your roles will include:

Country level: 

  • Head of HR: You will be defining, leading and implementing the HR strategy in collaboration with the country’s CEO as well as designing policies and processes in order to minimize business risk and comply with local laws and internal standards.
  • HRBP: You will be responsible to translate the HR strategy into actions to deliver the expected level of HR service. This will include support to managers, recruitment, training, careers and development, disciplinary management.
  • HR coordinator: You will be in charge of HR operations: onboarding, payroll, offboarding, day-to-day management, office management.
  • HR talent acquisition: You will be in charge of building pipelines, screening profiles, interviewing talents and managing the employer branding.
  • HR development: You will be responsible for collecting training and coaching needs and building a plan in alignement with talent reviews, building programs for high potentials and working on retention and happiness.

 Central level:

  • Head of Talent Acquisition & Planning: You will lead the development and delivery of overall recruitment strategies in order to support Jumia’s goal of becoming the best place to work in. 
  • Head of Compliance, operations & systems: You will ensure all countries are compliant with the Group guidelines and local labor law by providing the right tools and routines.
  • Head of Careers & Development: You will lead the development and delivery of overall development strategies to equip talents with appropriate skillset.
  • Head of Learning & Development: You will lead the development and delivery of overall learning strategies to ensure talents never stop growing.
