Cross Country Data Analyst - Jumia Services (Full Time)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing operations performance.
  • Use data modelling practices to analyze your findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes.
  • Work with external stakeholders to understand and investigate their feedback into the service/function/product provided;
  • Consider the opportunities and potential risks and flag it with top management
  • Flag with top management any Gaps on the performance and Identify root causes for bottlenecks.
  • Build smart tools to reduce time consumed from all operations teams.
  • Design, document and maintain system processes.
  • Communicate key insights and findings to product team.
  • Improvise monitoring tools for the whole operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's or advanced degree in supply chain discipline or related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Email, Internet etc.
  • Proficient in Google Office Suite  – Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail, etc.
  • Minimum 3 to 5  years-total experience in logistics, operations and/or vendor management, experience, preferably within distribution, transportation or customer contact operations is required
  • Process oriented, well-organized with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical ability; ability to leverage analytical work into action-oriented reporting and plans of action. 
  • Strong SQL and database experience
  • Experience in BI tools (prefered Power BI or Tableau)
  • Experience in Python/R is preferred
