Vendor Journey Manager - Jumia (Full Time)

Main Responsibilities:

The Vendor Journey Manager supports both the central VXP Head and local VXP Heads on key transformation projects in order to improve the experience of all vendors on Jumia. The VXP team oversees vendor operational processes, relentlessly ensuring vendors the best user experience from their start on Jumia website up to the last mile delivery.

  • Map, improve & monitor the E2E vendor journey (e.g. new Vendor Center, vendor communications)
  • Identidy major vendor pain points and misses (communications, tools, SLAs, promises...), deep dive into root causes, design & implement corrective/improvement strategic projects & routines across 12 countries
  • Design & implement necessary tech and BI developments with teams located in Porto to improve features/products used by vendors and VXP teams (e.g. agent task automation, vendor delisting…)
  • Focus on improving core vendor operational metrics (e.g. product quality, cancellation rate, penalties, VAS purchased by vendors) & provide central & local management teams with weekly performance updates
  • Work closely with countries VXP teams to ensure the Vendor Journey “on the ground” is meeting expectations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in leading complex transversal projects in fast growing organizations
  • Strong interpersonal skills: convincing people (including senior managers) you are making the right decisions
  • Ability to work simultaneously with people from various cultures/backgrounds
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and actions/results oriented
  • Confident when communicating in English (both writing & speaking)
  • Experience or understanding of e-commerce and technology businesses
