Sales Account Manager Advertising - Jumia (Full Time)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrating and presenting Jumia & Jumia Advertising to advertisers 
  • Pitching & Selling Jumia Advertising assets
  • Producing financial media plans and forecasts
  • Negotiating packages & media plans  
  • Managing media bookings    
  • Undertaking relevant research
  • Analysing and interpreting data
  • Keeping records of client transactions including billing & collection
  • Organising sales visits & establishing new business
  • Achieve monthly or annual targets
  • Following up on the campaign execution
  • Evaluating campaign effectiveness & analysing sales data
  • Generate sales among potential client accounts 
  • Operates as the point of contact for assigned customers
  • Develops and maintains long-term relationships with accounts
  • Makes sure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion
  • Forecasts and tracks client account metrics
  • Manage projects within client relationships, working to carry out client goals while meeting company goals
  • Identifies opportunities to grow business with existing clients
  • Coordinate with staff members working on the same account (KAMs) to ensure consistent service

  • Commercial awareness: keeping up-to-date with cultural/social trends and customers’ views and attitudes 
  • Bachelor's Degree as a minimum
  • +2 years of experience in digital advertising agency, media buying agency or digital publisher is a must
