Junior Key Account Manager- Jumia (Full Time)

Main Responsibilities

  • Steering the performance of the assigned sellers pool towards achieving the preset targets and objectives

  • Managing relationships with new and current suppliers (includes talking to them every day and developing rapport)

  • Obtaining weekly-promotion items from the suppliers

  • Securing new releases as soon as the suppliers have them

  • Finding new suppliers and products, to source and sell every product relevant to the assigned category

  • Monitoring stock levels and planning the replenishment with the seller well in advance.

  • Having accurate knowledge of competition: who they are, what prices they have and their products.

  • Analyzing consumer buying behavior and developing insight into future trends

  • Attending trade fairs/events and sourcing for new products.

  • Liaising with various teams within the organization to ensure a smooth flow of operations. 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Client management or Purchasing experience

  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills

  • Knowledge of suppliers of category products is an added advantage.

  • Proactive and has proven ability to deliver exceptional results despite operational challenges
