Head of Logistics – Jumia Global (Full Time) - China

Main Responsibilities:

 Set up and update the logistics workflow and standard logistic/operation procedures of Africa market. Troubleshoot problems, explore new ideas and solutions to sustain the service commitment in fast changing business needs.
 Drive for supply chain excellence, targeting optimization or enhancement in operations. Engage the stakeholders to roll out best practices within the region.
 Responsible for reporting and analytical support. Identify measurable KPI, analyze and give recommendation on the operation improvement.
 In charge of ad hoc / project basis logistics function to ensure the smooth operation.
• E2E supply chain solution design capability, such as 3rd party management, warehouse management, etc.
 Drive for new Carrier/3PL onboard, system integration (Label generation, Tracking integration…), period monitor and review the LSP performance (Lead time / cost), build up the good relationship with LSP.
• Overall manage the export cross-border operation, coordinate with Regional for the new operation process implement. Build up the good relationship with Regional IMP and Local CUS team.
• Drive for the system development and find the solution to work with regional IT team to fix the issues.
 Innovative logistics solution with partners for cost down and drive business growth.

Professional Skills & Qualifications:

 Familiar with overseas Warehouse and logistics process of the Africa market will be a plus. Have experience in Logistics design and solution in export.
 Familiar with Cross-Border process, system and operation would be a plus.
 Excellent in oral and written English.
 More than 5-8 years working experience in relevant industry. B2B or B2C experience preferred.
